Anyone familiar with tagging classical knows what is supplied as Meta data by the common internet databases is often a bit of a mess.

CHI addresses this problem in a couple of ways.

• Internet database
  Besides the usual suspects (FreeDB and Amazon) CHI also supports GD3.
  This is a paid service (lifelong support is included in the purchase). One might expect a more thorough and consistent tagging.
• Catalog with compositions
  The catalog contains compositions with all the relevant information like instrumentation, name, nickname, rank, opus, catalog and tonality
• List of composers. Almost each and everybody.
• List of performers.
• Text processing
  Manually correcting tags is a tedious process. You can speed it up by using formulas to parse text e.g. using Regex (Regular Expressions).
  You need programming skills to do so.
  CHI comes with a powerful interface allowing you to do all kind of processing without needing programming skills.
